Your first recording in 4 steps
Open Google Vids and start a new video
Go to vids.google.com, hit the plus to create a new project.
Add your slides, then hit Record
Pull in a Google Slides deck (or any slides) and choose the record option — your camera appears over the deck, just like Loom.
Talk through it once
Google handles the transcription automatically — no separate captions job.
Share the link
One shareable link, same permissions you already know from Docs and Drive.
Three ways to use it this week

One honest catch
You need a Google account, and the deck experience is smoothest with Google Slides. If your slides live in Canva or PowerPoint, export them and pull them in.
